The present invention relates to an apparatus for constructing a new-named entity and an allomorphic dictionary of a new-named entity based on a new headword registered in an online encyclopedia and a method thereof. According to the present invention, the apparatus comprises: an online encyclopedia information collection unit that collects headword information from an online encyclopedia; a memory in which a program for constructing the new named-entity and the allomorphic dictionary of the new named-entity based on the online encyclopedia is stored; and a processor that runs the program. The program collects new named-entities by using the headword information, filters and verifies for the collected new named-entities, and constructs the dictionary for new named-entities. 본 발명은 온라인 백과 사전에 등록된 신규 표제어를 기반으로 신규 개체명 및 신규 개체명의 이형태 사전을 구축하는 장치 및 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 온라인 백과 사전 기반 신규 개체명 및 신규 개체명의 이형태 사전 구축 장치는 온라인 백과 사전으로부터 표제어 정보를 수집하는 온라인 백과 사전 정보 수집부와, 온라인 백과 사전 기반 신규 개체명 및 신규 개체명의 이형태 사전 구축 프로그램이 저장된 메모리 및 프로그램을 실행시키는 프로세서를 포함하되, 프로세서는 표제어 정보를 이용하여 신규 개체명을 수집하고, 수집된 신규 개체명에 대해 필터링 및 검증을 수행하여, 신규 개체명 사전을 구축하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
