The present invention relates to a laser device, which comprises: an optical pumping unit generating pump light; a gain medium unit in which the optical amplification of a seed beam is made through the pump light; a polarization separation unit separating the pump light into first pump light and second pump light having different polarization; a first reflection unit allowing the first pump light to be incident to one end of the gain medium unit; and a second reflection unit allowing the second pump light to be incident to the other end of the gain medium unit. In the present invention, the pump light is separated into two lights having different polarization, and then the pump light is absorbed in a wider area by allowing the two lights to both ends of the gain medium unit, so that an improved heat dissipation effect and a pump absorption efficiency improving effect can be exhibited. 본 발명은 레이저 장치에 관한 것으로, 펌프광을 발생시키는 광 펌핑부, 상기 펌프광을 통한 씨드빔의 광 증폭이 이루어지는 이득매질부, 상기 펌프광을 서로 다른 편광을 가지는 제 1 펌프광 및 제 2 펌프광으로 분리하는 편광 분리부, 상기 제1 펌프광이 상기 이득매질부의 일단으로 입사될 수 있도록 하는 제1 반사부 및 상기 제2 펌프광이 상기 이득매질부의 타단으로 입사될 수 있도록 하는 제2 반사부를 포함한다. 본 발명은 펌프광을 서로 다른 편광을 가지는 두 개의 광으로 분리한 뒤, 이를 이득매질 양단 끝으로 입사시켜 보다 넓은 영역에서 펌프광이 흡수되도록 하는바 향상된 열발산 효과와 펌프 흡수 효율 향상 효과가 나타날 수 있다.
