Summary:Disclosed is a vehicle air conditioner having an improved slimming shape to achieve a light weight while having stiffness required to drive a sliding type door. The vehicle air conditioner, which includes an air conditioner case provided with a heat exchanger and a door provided in the air conditioner case to adjust the opening degree of an air passage, includes a shaft which is rotatably installed in the air conditioner case and connected to the door to drive the door according to rotation, and the shaft has at least one recessed groove recessed in the radial direction on the outer circumferential surface of an axial part. 슬라이딩 타입의 도어를 구동하기 위해 필요한 강성을 가지면서 경량화를 달성할 수 있는 개선된 살빼기 형상을 갖는 차량용 공조장치가 개시된다. 차량용 공조장치는 열교환기를 구비한 공조케이스와, 상기 공조케이스 내에 구비되어 공기 유로의 개도를 조절하는 도어를 포함하는 차량용 공조장치에 있어서, 상기 공조케이스 내에 회전 가능하게 설치되고, 상기 도어에 연결되어 회전에 따라 도어를 구동시키는 샤프트를 구비하며, 샤프트는 축부의 외주면에 반경 방향으로 요입된 적어도 하나의 요입홈이 형성된다.
