Summary:According to one aspect of the present invention, a coil component comprises: a body; an insulating substrate embedded in the body and including an insulating resin; first and second substrate protection layers covering at least one surface of the insulating substrate to protect the insulating substrate and including ceramic; and a coil portion including first and second coil patterns respectively disposed on the first and second substrate protection layers, wherein each of the first and second coil patterns includes a first conductive layer individually disposed on the first and second substrate protection layers, and a second conductive layer disposed on the first conductive layer to expose a side surface of the first conductive layer. 본 발명의 일 측면에 따른 코일 부품은, 바디, 상기 바디에 매설되고, 절연수지를 포함하는 절연기판, 상기 절연기판을 보호하도록 상기 절연기판의 적어도 일면을 덮고, 세라믹을 포함하는 제1 및 제2 기판보호층, 및 상기 제1 및 제2 기판보호층 각각에 배치된 제1 및 제2 코일패턴을 포함하는 코일부를 포함하고, 상기 제1 및 제2 코일패턴 각각은, 상기 제1 및 제2 기판보호층 각각에 배치된 제1 도전층, 및 상기 제1 도전층 상에 배치되되 상기 제1 도전층의 측면을 노출하는 제2 도전층을 포함한다.
