The present invention relates to a remote monitoring and control system. More specifically, the remote monitoring and control system comprises: a central device remotely controlling and monitoring an on-site facility at a remote site; and an RTU including a control module receiving a control command of the central device and instructing an operation of the on-site facility, and a monitoring module grasping an operation result of the on-site facility and providing monitoring information to the central device. The control module instructs the operation to the on-site facility, and provides operation instructing information to the monitoring module. The remote monitoring and control system can grasp a control failure section when the control command of the on-site facility fails, and can remotely and easily measure the operating time of the on-site facility. 본 발명은 원격감시제어시스템에 관한 것으로, 더욱 상세하게는 원격지의 현장설비를 원격으로 제어하고 감시하는 중앙장치; 및 상기 중앙장치의 제어명령을 받아 상기 현장설비의 동작을 지시하는 제어모듈과 상기 현장설비의 동작결과를 파악하여 상기 중앙장치에 감시정보를 제공하는 감시모듈을 포함하는 RTU; 를 포함하고, 상기 제어모듈은 상기 현장설비에 동작지시를 함과 동시에, 상기 동작지시 정보를 상기 감시모듈에 제공하는 것을 특징으로 하여, 현장설비의 제어 명령 실패시 제어실패 구간의 파악이 가능하고, 상기 현장설비의 동작시간을 원격으로 용이하게 측정 가능한 원격감시제어시스템에 관한 것이다.
