Summary:An embodiment of the present invention relates to a method for providing a location-based virtual mobile infrastructure (VMI) service and an apparatus thereof which allow users to receive more efficient VMI services by generating a virtual machine (VM) set based on a location and providing the VM with appropriate applications and content in real time with reference to the current location of a mobile terminal, user basic information, preferences, etc. 본 실시예는 위치기반의 가상 VM 세트를 생성하고, 모바일 단말기의 현재 위치, 사용자 기본 정보와 선호도 등을 참고하여 적합한 애플리케이션들과 컨텐츠들이 담긴 VM을 실시간으로 제공함으로써, 사용자로 하여금 보다 효율적인 VMI 서비스를 지원받을 수 있도록 하는 위치 기반의 VMI 서비스 제공방법 및 장치에 관한 것이다.
