The present invention relates to a current sensor diagnosis apparatus capable of effectively diagnosing a current sensor when diagnosing the current sensor embedded in a battery pack, and a current sensor diagnosis method thereof. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the current sensor diagnosis apparatus diagnoses a current sensor disposed in a charging/discharging path of a cell assembly including one or more secondary batteries. The current sensor diagnosis apparatus comprises: a switch disposed on the charging/discharging path to control conduction of a charging/discharging current flowing in the charging/discharging path; a voltage measurement unit measuring the both-end voltage of the switch; a temperature measurement unit measuring the temperature of the switch; and a processor receiving a both-end voltage value and a temperature measurement value of the switch from the voltage and temperature measurement units, estimating an on-state resistance value variance of the switch based on the temperature measurement value, estimating the charging/discharging current flowing in the charging/discharging path based on a default resistance value representing an on-state resistance at production of the switch, the on-state resistance value variance, and the both-end voltage value, and diagnosing the current sensor based on the estimated charging/discharging current value. 본 발명은 배터리 팩에 구비된 전류 센서를 진단하는 과정에서 효과적으로 전류 센서를 진단할 수 있는 전류 센서 진단 장치 및 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 전류 센서 진단 장치는, 적어도 하나 이상의 이차 전지를 구비하는 셀 어셈블리의 충방전 경로 상에 구비된 전류 센서를 진단하는 장치로서, 상기 충방전 경로 상에 구비되어 상기 충방전 경로를 흐르는 충방전 전류의 도통을 제어하도록 구성된 스위치; 상기 스위치의 양단 전압을 측정하도록 구성된 전압 측정부; 상기 스위치의 온도를 측정하도록 구성된 온도 측정부; 및 상기 전압 측정부 및 상기 온도 측정부로부터 상기 스위치의 양단 전압값 및 상기 스위치의 온도 측정값을 수신하고, 상기 온도 측정값을 기초로 상기 스위치의 온상태 저항값 변화량을 추정하며, 상기 스위치의 생산 시의 온상태 저항을 나타내는 초기 저항값, 상기 온상태 저항값 변화량 및 상기 양단 전압값을 기초로 상기 충방전 경로를 흐르는 충방전 전류를 추정하고, 추정된 충방전 전류값을 기초로 상기 전류 센서를 진단하도록 구성된 프로세서를 포함한다.
