Summary: | One embodiment of the present invention is to provide a grain-oriented electrical steel sheet with improved magnetic properties and productivity and a manufacturing method thereof. A grain-oriented electrical steel sheet according to one embodiment of the present invention includes: 2.0 to 4.5 wt% of Si; equal to or less than 0.005 wt% (excluding 0 wt%) of C; 0.005 to 0.05 wt% of Mn; equal to or less than 0.0005 wt% (excluding 0 wt%) of S; 0.01 to 0.1 wt% of Se; and the balance Fe and unavoidable impurities. In addition, the grain-oriented electrical steel sheet satisfies the following equation 1, 3 × [Mn] >= [Se] >= 1.5 × [Mn], where [Mn] and [Se] represent the contents (wt%) of Mn and Se, respectively.
