Summary: | A method for manufacturing a membrane electrode assembly of the present invention comprises: a step of disposing a substrate formed of a membrane on a base part; a catalytic ink absorption step of applying a catalyst ink to a laminate; and a transfer step of making the laminate in contact with the substrate and pressing the same to form a catalyst ink layer on the surface of the substrate. According to the present invention, a consumption amount of an unnecessary catalyst can be reduced.
