The present invention relates to a method for transmitting channel state information in a large-scale multi-antenna system and an apparatus performing the same. According to the present invention, the method comprises the steps of: estimating a channel state from signals received through a plurality of antennas; selecting a group pattern and a codeword made by grouping the plurality of antennas into a plurality of patterns from codebook information stored in advance based on the estimated channel state; and transmitting channel information including the selected group pattern and a codeword index to a receiving terminal. 본 발명은 대규모 다중 안테나 시스템에서의 채널 상태 정보 전송 방법으로서, 복수의 안테나를 통해 수신된 신호들로부터 채널 상태를 추정하는 단계, 상기 추정된 채널 상태에 기초하여 미리 저장된 코드북 정보로부터 복수의 안테나들을 복수의 패턴들로 그룹핑한 그룹 패턴 및 코드워드를 선택하는 단계, 및 상기 선택된 그룹 패턴 및 코드워드의 인덱스를 포함하는 채널 정보를 수신 단말로 전송하는 단계를 포함하는 방법 및 이를 수행하는 장치에 관한 것이다.
