An image processing device comprises an acquisition part for acquiring brightness of an input image having a color reproduction range wider than that of a recording device, a conversion part for performing a conversion process for acquiring a value included in the color reproduction range of the recording device with respect to the input image and acquiring the brightness of the image after conversion, and a correction part for correcting the brightness of the input image.
