According to the present invention, disclosed is a radiation therapy apparatus for animals, including: a treatment unit including a receiving space for placing an animal; an irradiation unit including an electron generator and a linear accelerator coupled to one side of the electron generator and disposed in a direction perpendicular to the treatment unit for irradiating radiation toward the treatment unit; and an image acquisition unit that is positioned at a predetermined interval with the treatment unit along the irradiation direction of the radiation, and acquires an image of the irradiation area when the radiation is irradiated, wherein the output of the radiation is between 1 and 2 MeV so that the radiation is irradiated to an affected area located in a predetermined distance range from the epidermis of the animal. 본 발명에 따르면, 동물을 배치하는 수용공간을 포함하는 치료부; 전자 발생기 및 상기 전자 발생기의 일 측에 결합하며 상기 치료부에 수직한 방향으로 배치되어 상기 치료부를 향해 방사선을 조사하는 선형가속기를 포함하는 조사부; 및 상기 방사선의 조사 방향을 따라 상기 치료부와 기설정된 간격을 가지고 위치하며, 상기 방사선이 조사될 때 조사 영역의 영상을 획득하는 영상획득부;를 포함하며, 상기 방사선이 상기 동물의 표피로부터 소정 거리 범위에 위치한 환부에 조사되도록 상기 방사선의 출력이 1 내지 2MeV인 동물용 방사선 치료기를 개시한다.
