Summary: | Disclosed in one embodiment of the present invention is a display device. The display device includes: an organic insulating layer; a pixel electrode formed on the organic insulating layer; a pixel defining layer including a first layer which covers the edge of the pixel electrode, has an opening corresponding to the pixel electrode and includes an inorganic insulator, and a second layer which has a light transmittance smaller than that of the first layer in a first wavelength band; an intermediate layer disposed on the pixel electrode exposed through the opening, and having a light emitting layer; and a counter electrode disposed on the intermediate layer. It is possible to prevent damage to a display element due to impurities.
