Disclosed according to embodiments of the present invention are a display device and a method of manufacturing the same. A display device according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: a display panel including a first display part in which a first region for disposing a first light emitting device and a second region adjacent to the first region and transmitting external light are alternately arranged in one direction; an electronic element facing one surface of the display panel, and disposed to correspond to at least the second region; and a transmittance control element controlling the transmittance of the second region between the display panel and the electronic element.
