폴리올레핀계 섬유를 함유하는 반투막 지지체에 있어서, 반복적인 세정이나 역세정에도 견딜 수 있고, 또, 반투막 성분이 침투하기 쉽지만, 뒤배임되기 어렵고, 반투막 지지체와 반투막의 접착성이 우수하고, 비도포면과 수지 프레임의 접착성도 우수한 반투막 지지체를 제공하는 것에 있다. 반투막을 형성하여 사용되는 반투막 지지체에 있어서, 그 반투막 지지체가, 폴리프로필렌을 심 성분으로 하고, 폴리에틸렌을 초 성분으로 하는 심초형 복합 섬유를 함유하여 이루어지는 습식 부직포이고, 반투막 지지체의 파열 강도가 300 ∼ 1000 ㎪ 이거나, 또는 그 반투막 지지체의 반투막을 형성하는 도포면의 베크 평활도 및 75 도 경면 광택도가, 반대측의 면인 비도포면의 베크 평활도 및 75 도 경면 광택도에 비하여 높은 반투막 지지체. A semipermeable membrane support containing polyolefin-based fibers, which can withstand repeated washing and backwashing, makes it easy for a semipermeable membrane component to permeate thereinto and difficult for the component to strike therethrough, and is excellent in adhesion to the semipermeable membrane and adhesion between a non-coating surface thereof and a resin frame.The semipermeable membrane support which is used by forming the semipermeable membrane thereon is a wet-laid nonwoven fabric containing core-sheath type conjugate fibers composed of polypropylene as a core component and polyethylene as a sheath component and has a burst strength of 300 to 1,000 kPa, or the Bekk smoothness and 75° mirror surface glossiness of the coating surface on which the semipermeable membrane is to be formed of the semipermeable membrane support being more than the Bekk smoothness and 75° mirror surface glossiness of a non-coating surface on the opposite side.
