Summary:The present invention relates to an apparatus for repairing a belt conveyor, which includes: a damage detecting unit provided on an upper side of a belt conveyor; a stiffener supply unit positioned on a downstream portion of the damage detecting unit based on a direction in which a belt of the belt conveyor is transferred; and a stiffener processing unit spaced apart from the stiffener supply unit on the belt conveyor. The present invention also relates to a method applied thereto. Provided are an apparatus and a method for repairing a belt conveyor, which are possible to smoothly repair a belt on a belt conveyor. 본 발명은, 벨트 컨베이어의 상측에 배치되는 손상 검출부, 벨트 컨베이어의 벨트가 이송되는 방향을 기준으로 손상 검출부의 하류에 위치하는 보강재 공급부, 벨트 컨베이어상에서 보강재 공급부와 이격되는 보강재 처리부를 포함하는 벨트 컨베이어 보수 장치 및 이에 적용되는 방법로서, 벨트 컨베이어상에서 벨트를 원활하게 보수할 수 있는 벨트 컨베이어 보수 장치 및 방법이 제시된다.
