According to an embodiment of the present invention, a coolant pump for a vehicle comprises: an impeller mounted at one side of a shaft and pumping a coolant; a pulley mounted at the other side of the shaft and receiving torque; a coolant pump housing in which an outlet is formed; an inflow portion including a first inlet and a second inlet configured for receiving coolant; a slider in which a first closing portion selectively closing or opening the outlet and a second closing portion selectively closing or opening the second inlet are formed, wherein the slider is disposed slidable along a longitudinal direction of the shaft; and a drive unit moving the slider. 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 차량용 냉각수 펌프는 샤프트의 일측에 장착되어 냉각수를 펌핑하는 임펠러, 상기 샤프트의 타측에 장착되어 회전력을 전달받는 풀리, 토출구가 형성된 냉각수 펌프 하우징, 냉각수가 전달되는 제1 인렛 및 제2 인렛을 포함하는 유입부, 상기 토출구를 선택적으로 차단하거나 개방하는 제1 차단부 및 상기 제2 인렛을 선택적으로 차단하거나 개방하는 제2 차단부가 형성되며, 상기 샤프트의 길이방향으로 이동 가능하게 배치되는 슬라이더 및 상기 슬라이더를 이동시키는 구동부를 포함한다.
