Disclosed is a method for detecting an abnormal event. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the method for detecting an abnormal event may comprise the operations of: determining a regression model by processing reference data generated in the past; detecting an abnormal event using confidence intervals of actual data subject to abnormal event detection and predictive data predicted from the regression model; and detecting the abnormal event using a cumulative value of the difference between the predictive data and the actual data. 비정상 이벤트 탐지를 위한 방법이 개시된다. 일 실시예에 따르면, 비정상 이벤트 탐지를 위한 방법은 과거에 발생한 참조 데이터를 처리하여 회귀 모델을 결정하는 동작; 비정상 이벤트 탐지의 대상이 되는 실제 데이터 및 상기 회귀 모델로부터 예측된 예측 데이터의 신뢰 구간을 이용하여 비정상 이벤트를 탐지하는 동작; 및 상기 예측 데이터와 상기 실제 데이터 간 차이의 누적값을 이용하여 비정상 이벤트를 탐지하는 동작을 포함할 수 있다.
