A display device may include a display panel and a chip on film package. The display panel may include a substrate including a display region and a pad region positioned at one side of the display region, and a first pad and a second pad disposed on the pad region of the substrate. The chip on film package may be disposed on the pad region of the substrate with the first pad and the second pad interposed therebetween. The chip on film package may include an insulating layer, a first line disposed on the upper surface of the insulating layer and electrically connected to the first pad, and a second line disposed on the lower surface of the insulating layer and electrically connected to the second pad. A first signal having an alternating voltage level may be applied to the first line.
