Disclosed is an operation method of a communication node for packet transmission in a communication network. According to an embodiment of the present invention, an operation method of a communication node for packet transmission in a communication network, which is an operation method of a gateway for transmitting a packet in the communication network, comprises the following steps: receiving a packet from a BBU connected with the gateway in the communication network; classifying the received packet based on a classification scheme preset according to a packet type; mapping the classified packet to a bearer based on a service data flow of the packet; and transmitting the packet through the mapped bearer to a hub included in the communication network. 통신 네트워크에서 패킷 전송을 위한 통신 노드의 동작 방법이 개시된다. 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 통신 네트워크에서 패킷 전송을 위한 통신 노드의 동작 방법은 통신 네트워크에서 패킷을 전송하는 게이트웨이의 동작 방법으로서, 통신 네트워크에서 게이트웨이와 연결된 BBU로부터 패킷을 수신하는 단계, 수신된 패킷을 패킷의 타입에 상응하여 미리 설정된 분류 방식을 기반으로 분류하는 단계, 분류된 패킷을 패킷의 서비스 데이터 플로우에 기초하여 베어러에 매핑하는 단계 및 매핑된 베어러를 통해 패킷을 통신 네트워크에 포함된 허브로 전송하는 단계를 포함한다.
