Summary: | According to the present invention, an embodiment is to provide a lithium secondary battery having enhanced output characteristics, lifespan characteristics, and electrode adhesion stability by using a binder for a negative electrode using heparin or lithium polyacrylate (LiPAA). According to the embodiment, the lithium secondary battery comprises: a positive electrode; a negative electrode; a separator interposed between the positive electrode and the negative electrode; and an electrolyte. The negative electrode comprises an electrode active material including a silicon-based material and graphite, a binder, and a conductive material. The binder comprises one of heparin and LiPAA.
