The present invention relates to a battery case with excellent moisture transmission resistance and mechanical properties, a battery, and a manufacturing method thereof. According to the present invention, the battery case comprises a container receiving an electrode assembly. The container comprises a bottom wall and a plurality of side walls. The bottom wall and the side walls are integrated to form an open side facing the bottom wall and a space for receiving the electrode assembly therein. The container is a molded product of a composition including a base polymer, an inorganic moisture absorbent dispersed in the base polymer, and a compatibilizer promoting compatibility between the base polymer and the inorganic moisture absorbent, wherein the compatibilizer is less than 3 weight percent with respect to the total weight of the composition.
