Summary:A transmission apparatus is disclosed. According to the present invention, the transmission apparatus comprises: an encoding unit which performs low density parity check (LDPC) encoding to generate an LDPC codeword; an interleaver for interleaving the LDPC codeword; and a modulating unit for mapping the interleaved LDPC codeword to a modulation symbol. The modulating unit may map a bit included in a predetermined bit group among a plurality of bit groups constituting the LDPC codeword to a predetermined bit in the modulation symbol. 송신 장치가 개시된다. 본 송신 장치는 LDPC 부호화를 수행하여 LDPC 부호어를 생성하는 부호화부, LDPC 부호어를 인터리빙하는 인터리버 및 인터리빙된 LDPC 부호어를 변조 심볼에 맵핑하는 변조부를 포함하며, 변조부는 LDPC 부호어를 구성하는 복수의 비트 그룹 중 기설정된 비트 그룹에 포함된 비트를 변조 심볼 내의 기설정된 비트에 맵핑할 수 있다.
