Summary:The present invention relates to a method for detecting ribonuclease H (RNase H) activity using catalytic hairpin assembly. More specifically, the present invention relates to a method for detecting RNase H activity without a label with high sensitivity through catalytic hairpin assembly based signal amplification. The RNase H activity detection method based on unlabeled catalytic hairpin assembly according to the present invention does not require fluorescence and quencher material labeling, and no signal mistake occurs due to the low stability of the detection system. Therefore, it is possible to detect RNase H activity with low cost, in a simple and stable way and with high sensitivity, and to select RNase H inhibitors with potential as a treatment for AIDS.
