Summary:The present invention relates to a method for screening a prostate cancer patient based on circulating cancer cells and a prostate specific antigen (PSA) intersection test, which has improved sensitivity and specificity for prostate cancer. The method comprises the steps of: collecting blood from a patient; detecting a PSA from the collected blood; isolating circulating tumor cells from the collected blood; detecting the circulating tumor cells expressing prostate specific membrane antigen (PSMA) in the isolated circulating tumor cells; analyzing the ratio of the amount of PSMA expression; and comparing the ratio with a reference value. 본 발명의 일실시예에 따르면, 혈중 순환 암세포 및 전립선특이항원(Prostate Specific Antigen)의 교차검사를 통한 전립선암환자 스크리닝 방법을 제공한다.
