According to various embodiments of the present invention, an electronic device comprises: a first speaker; a second speaker; at least one sensor for detecting a state of at least one of the first speaker and the second speaker; and at least one processor electrically connected to the first speaker, the second speaker, and the at least one sensor. The at least one processor is configured to: output an audio signal through the first speaker and the second speaker; identify states of the first speaker and the second speaker by using the at least one sensor; and when the state of the first speaker is determined to be abnormal, reduce a volume level of an audio signal output from the first speaker and increase a volume level of an audio signal output from the second speaker. Various other embodiments recognized through the specification are also possible.
