Summary: | Aspects of the present disclosure relate to methods for detecting power associated with an individual carrier of a carrier aggregated signal. According to an embodiment, a method may comprise a step of detecting an indication of power of a first carrier of an aggregated carrier. The method may also comprise a step of detecting an indication of power of a second carrier of the aggregated carrier, separately from the step of detecting power of the first carrier. Power related to a radio frequency source, such as a power amplifier, may be adjusted based on the indication of the power of the first carrier.
