The positive electrode active material for a lithium secondary battery of the present invention comprises: a lithium nickel-manganese-cobalt composite oxide; and a coating layer formed on a surface of the lithium nickel-manganese-cobalt composite oxide. 리튬 이차 전지용 양극 활물질, 이를 포함하는 리튬 이차 전지 및 전지모듈에 관한 것으로서, 상기 양극 활물질은 리튬 니켈-망간-코발트 복합 산화물 표면에 Al 및 W이 코팅되어 있다.
