The present invention relates to a folding device for a rear seat of a vehicle. The folding device for a rear seat of a vehicle comprises: a folding unit connecting a seatback frame to a seat cushion frame of a rear seat to rotate and folding or unfolding a seatback including the seatback frame; a switching unit capable of rotating the seatback frame by releasing a hanging state of a rotation prevention unit locked in a hanging state to prevent the seatback frame from rotating; and a control unit rotating the seatback frame by controlling the folding unit after releasing the hanging state of the rotation prevention unit by controlling the switching unit. According to the present invention, the folding device for a rear seat of a vehicle controls the folding unit and the switching unit using an electric method by the control unit and automatically folds or unfolds the seatback of the rear seat. 본 발명은 차량용 리어시트 폴딩 장치에 관한 것으로, 리어시트의 시트쿠션 프레임에 시트백 프레임을 회동가능하게 연결하여 상기 시트백 프레임이 내재되는 시트백을 폴딩시키거나 언폴딩시키는 폴딩수단; 상기 시트백 프레임의 회동을 방지하도록 걸림상태로 잠금되는 회동방지부의 걸림상태를 해제하여 상기 시트백 프레임을 회동가능하게 하는 스위칭부; 및 상기 스위칭부를 제어하여 상기 회동방지부의 걸림상태를 해제한 후, 상기 폴딩수단을 제어하여 상기 시트백 프레임을 회동시키는 제어부;를 포함하여 구성된다. 본 발명에 의하면, 제어부를 통해 전동방식을 이용한 폴딩수단 및 스위칭부를 제어하여 리어시트의 시트백을 자동적으로 폴딩시키거나 언폴딩시킬 수 있다.
