The electronic device comprises: a camera; and a processor obtaining a video including an eye photographed through the camera, extracting one or more blood vessels included in the video, and determining a hyperemia grade of the eye based on a size of the one or more extracted blood vessels. 전자 장치 및 이를 이용한 눈의 충혈도 판단 방법이 개시된다. 본 전자 장치는, 카메라 및 카메라를 통해 촬영된 눈을 포함하는 영상을 획득하고, 영상에 포함된 하나 이상의 혈관을 추출하며, 추출한 하나 이상의 혈관의 사이즈에 기초해서, 눈의 충혈도를 판단하는 프로세서를 포함한다.
