The present invention relates to a method for managing a maritime service wanted by a service provider in a terrestrial environment, to transfer service metadata to a service user without interrupting communications, and a method for enabling a service user to inquire metadata of a maritime service through a maritime messaging service (MMS) in a maritime environment. According to the present invention, a method for enabling a service user to inquire metadata of a maritime service from a maritime service registry system in a maritime environment comprises the steps of a maritime service registry system of: receiving a service metadata request message of the service user from a service user client, wherein the service metadata request message of the service user includes location information of a ship boarding the service user thereon; identifying the service metadata request message of the service user received through MMS communications; inquiring the service metadata correct the identified service metadata request message to a maritime service registry database; and transferring the service metadata corresponding to the identified service metadata request message to the user client through the MMS communications. 해사 서비스 레지스트리 시스템에서 해상환경에서 서비스 사용자가 해사 서비스의 메타 데이터를 조회하는 방법은 상기 해사 서비스 레지스트리 시스템에서 MMS(Maritime Message System) 통신을 통하여 서비스 사용자 클라이언트로부터 상기 서비스 사용자의 서비스 메타 데이터 요청 메시지-상기 서비스 사용자의 서비스 메타 데이터 요청 메시지는 상기 서비스 사용자가 승선한 선박의 위치 정보를 포함함-를 수신하는 단계와, 상기 해사 서비스 레지스트리 시스템에서 상기 MMS 통신을 통하여 수신되는 상기 서비스 사용자의 서비스 메타 데이터 요청 메시지를 식별하는 단계와, 상기 해사 서비스 레지스트리 시스템에서 상기 식별된 서비스 메타 데이터 요청 메시지에 해당하는 서비스 메타 데이터를 해사 서비스 레지스트리 데이터베이스에서 조회하는 단계와, 상기 해사 서비스 레지스트리 시스템에서 상기 MMS 통신을 통하여 상기 식별된 서비스 메타 데이터 요청 메시지에 해당하는 서비스 메타 데이터를 상기 서비스 사용자 클라이언트로 전달하는 단계를 포함한다.
