The present disclosure relates to a method for transmitting and receiving a reference signal to smoothly provide a service in a wireless communication system. According to an embodiment of the present invention, a method for transmitting and receiving a reference signal of a terminal in a wireless communication system comprises the steps of: receiving a transmission request of an uplink reference signal and information on a direction of a beam to be used for transmitting the uplink reference signal from a base station; performing beamforming on the uplink reference signal based on the information on the direction of the beam; and transmitting the beamformed uplink reference signal to the base station. 본 개시는 무선통신 시스템에서 서비스를 원활하게 제공하기 위한 기준 신호 송수신 방법에 관한 것으로, 일 실시예에 따른 무선 통신 시스템에서 단말의 기준 신호 송수신 방법은, 기지국으로부터 상향링크 기준신호의 전송 요청과 상향링크 기준신호의 전송에 사용할 빔의 방향에 관한 정보를 수신하는 단계, 빔의 방향에 관한 정보를 기초로 상향링크 기준신호에 대하여 빔포밍을 수행하는 단계 및 빔포밍 된 상향링크 기준신호를 기지국으로 전송하는 단계를 포함할 수 있다.
