The present invention relates to a device for providing a recommended card comprising: a memory in which at least one program is stored; and at least one processor for recommending a card to a user of the device based on the location of the device by executing the at least one program. The memory comprises commands that the at least one processor, when the device operates, executes: a step of receiving a wireless signal from one or more access points around the device; a step of selecting one of the one or more access points based on the strength of the received wireless signal; a step of determining an affiliated store corresponding to the selected access point; a step of determining at least one recommended card for the determined affiliated store among the at least one registered card, based on card benefit information regarding at least one card registered in the device; and a step of providing the at least one recommended card.
