본 발명은 적어도 하나의 소켓 부재(3)와 적어도 하나의 플러그 부재(2)를 포함하는 터미널 커넥터(connector)(1)를 위한 유지 요소(holding element)(4)에 관한 것으로, 상기 플러그 부재(2)는 상기 소켓 부재(3)의 소켓부(socket portion)(31) 내부로 삽입되거나 삽입될 수 있다. 상기 유지 요소(4)는 상기 플러그 부재(2)를 상기 소켓 부재(3) 내에 해제 가능하게 유지하기 위해 상기 플러그 부재(2) 상에 끼워지거나 끼워질 수 있다. 상기 유지 요소(4)는 유지 요소 몸체(44), 상기 유지 요소(4)에 대하여 내측으로 지향된 걸림 러그들(latching lugs)(41)을 가진 유지 아암들(holding arms)(43), 상기 유지 요소(4)에 대하여 외측으로 지향된 걸림 러그들을 가진 유지 아암들, 및 축방향으로 양측 단부에 중단되지 않고 연속적인 에지(47)를 가진다. 상기 유지 아암들(43) 각각은 반경 방향으로 스프링-탄성적으로 움직일 수 있는 자유 단부(free end)와, 상기 유지 요소 몸체에 고정된 반대쪽 단부를 가진다.
