The present invention relates to artificial leather and a method for manufacturing the same. Specifically, the present invention relates to artificial leather having a remarkably small amount of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) generated while satisfying both Squeak index and dynamic friction coefficient required as artificial leather used in an automotive seat cover, and a method for manufacturing the same. The Squeak index is less than 0.15, the dynamic friction coefficient is 0.2-0.5, and the VOC generation amount is 500 μg/m^2 or less. 본 발명은 인조가죽 및 이의 제조방법에 관한 것으로, 구체적으로 자동차용 시트커버에 사용되는 인조가죽으로서 요구되는 스퀵 지수와 동마찰 계수를 모두 만족하면서도, 휘발성 유기 화합물(VOCs)의 발생량이 현저히 적은 인조가죽 및 이의 제조방법에 관한 것이다.
