In order to solve the problem in accordance with an embodiment of the present invention, provided is a pouch type secondary battery comprising: an electrode including a positive electrode and a negative electrode, and an electrode assembly in which a separator is laminated; a battery case in a shape of a pouch for accommodating the electrode assembly; an electrode tab connected to the electrode and protruding from one side of the electrode assembly; a first electrode lead having one end connected to the electrode tab; a second electrode lead having one end connected to the other end of the first electrode lead, and the other end protruding outside the battery case; and a connection part for bonding and connecting the first electrode lead and the second electrode lead to each other. At least one of the first and second electrode leads is formed with at least one notch on a bonding surface bonded to each other through the connection part. 상기 과제를 해결하기 위한 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 파우치 형 이차 전지는 양극 및 음극을 포함하는 전극과, 분리막이 적층되는 전극 조립체; 상기 전극 조립체를 수용하는 파우치 형태의 전지 케이스; 상기 전극과 연결되며 상기 전극 조립체의 일측으로부터 돌출되는 전극 탭; 일단이 상기 전극 탭과 연결되는 제1 전극 리드; 일단이 상기 제1 전극 리드의 타단과 연결되고, 타단이 상기 전지 케이스의 외부로 돌출되는 제2 전극 리드; 및 상기 제1 전극 리드 및 상기 제2 전극 리드를 서로 접착시켜 연결하는 연결부;를 포함하되, 상기 제1 및 제2 전극 리드 중 적어도 하나에는, 상기 연결부를 통해 서로에게 접착되는 접착면에 적어도 하나의 노치가 형성된다.
