A heating device in a form of a radiant heating device for a hob includes a sheet-like support having a support top side with at least one heating element on the support top side, and the heating element is highly wave shaped and leads to tracks in a laying pattern. The heating element has at least two heating conductor strips, each having lateral sides and an upper edge and a bottom edge. The at least two heating conductor strips are disposed on or disposed together by the mutually opposite lateral sides, and are at least partially in contact with each other.
