A substrate processing apparatus and a substrate processing method transfer a flexible substrate through unwinding and winding, print a first pattern and an alignment mark on the flexible substrate passing through a first position by transferring in accordance with the unwinding and winding, vacuum-absorb a back surface of the flexible substrate to check the alignment mark in a state of stopping transfer of the flexible substrate when the flexible substrate enters a second position which is the downstream area of the first position, tilt the flexible substrate in a vacuum-absorbed state at a predetermined angle to correctly align the position of the flexible substrate in case of abnormality when checking the alignment mark, and print a second pattern on the flexible substrate passing through the second position by the transfer. 예시적인 실시예들에 따른 기판 처리 장치 및 기판 처리 방법은 언와인딩 및 와인딩에 의해 유연 기판을 이송시키고, 언와인딩 및 와인딩에 따른 이송에 의해 제1 위치를 통과하는 상기 유연 기판 상에 제1 패턴 및 정렬 마크를 인쇄하고, 상기 유연 기판이 제1 위치의 하류인 제2 위치에 진입할 때 상기 유연 기판의 이면을 진공 흡착하여 상기 유연 기판의 이송을 멈춘 상태에서 상기 정렬 마크를 확인하고, 상기 정렬 마크의 확인시 이상이 있을 경우 상기 진공 흡착한 상태에 있는 유연 기판을 소정 각도로 틸팅시켜 상기 유연 기판의 위치를 올바르게 정렬한 후, 상기 이송에 의해 제2 위치를 통과하는 상기 유연 기판 상에 제2 패턴을 인쇄한다.
