Summary:According to the present invention, an image processing method comprises the following steps: generating primary recovery data with second resolution higher than first resolution with a block unit having a first size from image data with the first resolution by using a first filter; generating secondary recovery data with a local regional unit having a second size smaller than the first size from the primary recovery data of a block using a second filter; and compensating image data input to a display device with the local regional unit by using the secondary recovery data. Therefore, a unique display defect of the display device can be compensated by using low resolution compensation data. 본 발명에 따른 영상 처리 방법은, 제1 필터를 이용하여 제1 해상도의 이미지 데이터로부터 제1 크기의 블록 단위로 제1 해상도보다 높은 제2 해상도의 1차 복원 데이터를 생성하고, 제2 필터를 이용하여 블록의 1차 복원 데이터로부터 제1 크기보다 작은 제2 크기의 국소 영역 단위로 2차 복원 데이터를 생성하고, 2차 복원 데이터를 이용하여 표시 장치에 입력되는 영상 데이터를 국소 영역 단위로 보상하여, 저해상도의 보상 데이터를 이용하여 표시 장치 고유의 표시 결함을 보상할 수 있다.
