Embodiments of the present invention provide a distance measuring apparatus, a signal discriminator, and a moving object. The distance measuring apparatus comprises an optical transceiving device, a signal discriminator, and a distance measurer. The distance measuring apparatus can convert a signal point having a maximum signal size in an electrical signal to have a predetermined signal size by converting the electrical signal, can control the converted electrical signal size and detect a point having the predetermined size so as to improve a work error and measure a precise point by using only a comparator. 본 실시예들은 전기 신호에서 최대 신호 크기를 갖는 신호 지점을 기 설정된 크기를 갖도록 상기 전기 신호를 변환하고, 변환된 전기 신호의 크기를 조절하고, 기 설정된 크기를 갖는 시점을 검출함으로써, 워크에러를 개선하고 비교기만으로도 정확한 시점을 측정할 수 있는 거리 측정 장치, 신호 판별기, 및 이동체를 제공한다.
