The present invention provides an address mapping method of a storage device which includes a plurality of sub-storage devices each including an over-provision area. The address mapping method of a storage device which includes a plurality of sub-storage devices each including an over-provision area includes the following steps of: detecting mapping information of a received logical address from a mapping table; selecting a hash function corresponding to the received logical address depending on the mapping information; selecting any one, which is to be mapped onto the received logical address, of the plurality of sub-storage devices by using the selected hash function; and mapping the received logical address onto the over-provision area of the selected sub-storage device. The selected hash function is selected from a default hash function and a plurality of hash functions to provide a rule for selecting the any one of the plurality of sub-storage devices. 본 발명에 따른 각각 오버-프로비전(Over-Provision) 영역을 포함하는 복수의 서브-스토리지 장치들을 포함하는 스토리지 장치의 어드레스 맵핑 방법이 제공된다. 각각 오버-프로비전(Over-Provision) 영역을 포함하는 복수의 서브-스토리지 장치들을 포함하는 스토리지 장치의 어드레스 맵핑 방법은, 수신된 논리 어드레스의 맵핑 정보를 맵핑 테이블로부터 검출하는 단계, 상기 맵핑 정보에 따라 상기 수신된 논리 어드레스에 대응하는 해시 함수를 선택하는 단계, 상기 선택된 해시 함수를 사용하여 상기 수신된 논리 어드레스에 맵핑되는 상기 복수의 서브-스토리지 장치들 중 어느 하나를 선택하는 단계, 그리고 상기 선택된 서브-스토리지 장치의 오버-프로비전 영역에 상기 수신된 논리 어드레스를 맵핑하는 단계를 포함하되, 상기 선택된 해시 함수는 상기 복수의 서브-스토리지 장치들 중에서 상기 어느 하나를 선택하는 규칙을 제공하기 위해 디폴트 해시 함수 및 복수의 해시 함수들 중에서 선택된다.
