According to various embodiments of the present invention, an electronic device comprises a communication circuit for supporting communication of a first communication method and a second communication method and a processor. The processor establishes a first communication channel corresponding to the first communication method with a first external electronic device by using the communication circuit, receives setup information related to the first communication channel from the first external electronic device, and transmits audio data to the first external electronic device through the first communication channel in order to allow the first external electronic device to use and output the audio data. And, the processor can be set to transmit setup information related to the first communication channel to a second external electronic device through a second communication channel corresponding to the second communication method so as to obtain the audio data by allowing the second external electronic device to use the setup information.
