An imaging control apparatus includes a control part which is configured to receive a first user operation, and to control to output an image signal on a display part, which is one of a first image corresponding to a first range of a live VR image and a second image corresponding to a second range of the live VR image, when the first user operation is not accepted. The control part is also configured to control to output an image signal for changing the image displayed on the display part, from one side of the first image and the second image, the other side of the first image and the second image, or both of the first image and the second image, when the first user operation is received; and to issue a preparation instruction for executing a photographing preparation process.
