A combine is desired that is capable of improving the operability of a shift operation lever positioned outside a boarding space. Also desired is a combine that is capable of facilitating pre-cleaner maintenance. A combine is provided with an operation section (4) for operator boarding, an engine compartment (11) installed below the operation section (4) and accommodating an engine, an engine bonnet (27) partitioning the boarding space of the operation section (4) and the engine compartment (11) from each other, a mechanical auxiliary transmission device shifting the driving force of the engine, and an auxiliary shift operation lever (42) installed in the engine compartment (11) and shifting the auxiliary transmission device. An opening (29Aa) is formed at the part of the engine bonnet (27) facing a handle portion (44) of the auxiliary shift operation lever (42). In the boarding space, the auxiliary shift operation lever (42) can be shifted through the opening (29Aa). Also, the combine is provided with an operation section (1004) for operator boarding, a cabin (1005) covering the operation section (1004), a grain storage tank (1007) installed behind the cabin (1005), an engine (E) installed below the operation section (1004), and a pre-cleaner (1015) for the engine (E).
