Summary:A terminal for supporting a radio access technology (RAT), when receiving a radio quality measurement request through a first extensible authentication protocol (EAP) message used in a terminal authentication procedure for accessing a Wi-Fi base station of a wireless LAN, from the Wi-Fi base station, measures radio quality information of measurable RATs, and transmits the radio quality information of the measured RATs using a second EAP message used in the terminal authentication procedure, to the Wi-Fi base station. 다중 무선 접속 기술(radio access technology, RAT)을 지원하는 단말은 무선랜의 와이파이(WiFi) 기지국으로의 접속을 위한 단말 인증 절차에서 사용되는 제1 EAP(Extensible Authentication Protocol) 메시지를 통해 상기 와이파이 기지국으로부터 무선 품질 측정 요청을 수신하면, 측정 가능한 RAT들의 무선 품질 정보를 측정한 후, 상기 단말 인증 절차에서 사용되는 제2 EAP 메시지를 이용하여 측정된 RAT들의 무선 품질 정보를 상기 와이파이 기지국으로 전송한다.
