Summary:According to an embodiment of the present invention, a foldable display apparatus comprises: first and second support plates supporting at least a part of a display panel; and a hinge unit positioned between the first and second support plates. Since a support member formed in an area adjacent to the hinge unit is formed to support a side unit when the display panel is folded or unfolded, the durability of the display panel may be increased and the display apparatus, which may be smoothly folded and unfolded, may be produced. 본 명세서의 실시예에 따른 접이식 디스플레이 장치는 디스플레이 패널의 적어도 일부를 지지하는 제1 지지 플레이트와 제2 지지 플레이트, 및 제1 지지 플레이트와 제2 지지 플레이트 사이에 있는 힌지부를 포함하며, 힌지부와 인접한 영역에 형성되는 지지부재는 디스플레이 패널이 접거나 펴는 동작을 할 때 측면부를 지지하도록 형성되어 표시패널의 내구성이 향상되고 부드럽게 접고 펴는 디스플레이 장치를 만들 수 있다.
