The present invention relates to a spline shaft, and more particularly, to a spline shaft with a backlash prevention function, in which a magnetic fluid and a permanent magnet are provided to change a viscosity of the magnetic fluid during a rotation operation of the spline shaft, so that noise and vibrations due to backlash are minimized. The spline shaft with the backlash prevention function includes: a female type spline shaft formed on one end side thereof with an injection port for injecting a magnetic fluid and having a magnet surrounding an outer surface of the female type spline shaft to generate a magnetic field; and a male type spline shaft coupled to the female type spline shaft and formed on one outer side with a sealing groove for receiving a seal for preventing the magnetic fluid from leaking. 본 발명은 스플라인 축에 관한 것으로서, 특히 자성 유체와 영구자석을 구비하여 스플라인 축의 회전동작시 자성 유체의 점성을 변동시켜 백래시로 인한 소음과 진동을 최소화하는 백래시 방지 기능을 갖는 스플라인 축에 관한 것이다. 구성은 백래시 방지 기능을 갖는 스플라인 축에 있어서, 일단 측면에 자성 유체(magnetic fluid)를 주입하기 위한 주입구가 형성되고, 외면으로는 자기장(magnetic field)을 발생시키기 위한 자석이 외면을 감싸도록 형성되는 암형(Female Typr) 스플라인 축과; 상기 암형 스플라인 축과 결합 되고, 외면 일 측에는 자성 유체의 유출을 방지하기 위한 씰(Seal)을 수용하기 위한 실링 홈이 형성된 수형(Male Type) 스플라인 축; 으로 이루어진다.
