Summary:A particle beam medical apparatus (10) comprises: a rotating gantry (15) axially rotating in a state in which a bed (24) fixed to a stationary system is arranged inside and an irradiation port (18) of a beam (19) is fixed to a moving body; a tunnel structure (16) having an interior space having a horizontal bottom surface and an arch ceiling and at least a portion of the bed (24) being received; a rotating support portion (57) for stopping the tunnel structure (16) in the stationary system irrespective of the axial rotation of the rotating gantry (15) by rotatably displacing the tunnel structure (16) with respect to the inner side (15a) of the rotating gantry. 입자선 의료 장치(10)는, 정지계에 고정된 베드(24)를 내측에 배치시키고 빔(19)의 조사 포트(18)를 동체에 고정시킨 상태에서 축회전하는 회전 갠트리(15)와, 수평 바닥면 및 아치 천장을 갖고 베드(24)의 적어도 일부가 수용되는 내부 공간을 갖는 터널 구조체(16)와, 회전 갠트리의 내측면(15a)에 대해 터널 구조체(16)를 회전 변위시킴에 의해 회전 갠트리(15)의 축회전과는 무관계로 정지계에 있어서 터널 구조체(16)를 정지시키는 회전 지지부(57)를 구비하고 있다.
