The present invention relates to an air cleaning apparatus (1) including: a suction fan (5) disposed at a rear of a case (3) to form a flow in the direction of air passing through the case (3); an air filter (7) disposed at a front of the case (3) to primarily remove foreign matter contained in the sucked air; a water filter unit (9) mounted inside the case (3) to vertically form a water screen between the air filter (7) and the suction fan (5) by injecting pumped water downward through an injection port (17) to secondarily remove the foreign matter contained in the air having passed through the air filter (7); a sensor unit (11) mounted to the case (3) to detect contamination; a mobile communication unit (13) connected to the sensor unit (11) and receiving a measurement value transmitted from the sensor unit (11) to display the contamination status; a fan speed control unit (30) for controlling an amount of the air passing through the air filter (7) by controlling a rotation speed of the suction fan (5) according to a fine dust concentration value transmitted from the sensor unit (11); a water screen adjusting unit (40) for adjusting the thickness of the water screen by controlling a driving speed of a pump (21) for forming the water screen on the water filter unit (9) according to the fine dust concentration value transmitted from the sensor unit (11); and a controller (C) for varying the air intake amount or varying the thickness of the water screen by linking and controlling the fan speed control unit (30) and the water screen adjusting unit (40) according to the concentration value transmitted from the sensor unit (11). 본 발명은 공기 청정장치(1)에 관한 것이다. 그러한 공기 청정장치(1)는 케이스(3)의 후방에 배치되어 공기가 케이스(3)를 통과하는 방향으로 흐름을 형성하는 흡입팬(5)과; 케이스(3)의 전방에 배치되어 흡입되는 공기에 함유된 이물질을 1차적으로 제거하는 에어필터(7)와; 케이스(3)의 내부에 장착되며, 펌핑된 물을 분사구(17)를 통하여 하부로 분사함으로써 에어필터(7)와 흡입팬(5)의 사이에 수막을 상하로 형성하여 에어필터(7)를 통과한 공기중에 함유된 이물질을 2차적으로 제거하는 물 필터부(9)와; 케이스(3)에 장착되어 오염여부를 감지하는 센서부(11)와; 센서부(11)에 연결되어 센서부(11)로부터 전송된 측정값을 수신하여 오염여부를 표시하는 이동통신기(13)와; 센서부(11)로부터 전송된 미세먼지 농도값에 따라 흡입팬(5)의 회전속도를 제어하여 에어필터(7)를 통과하는 공기의 양을 조절하는 팬 속도 조절부(30)와; 센서부(11)로부터 전송된 미세먼지 농도값에 따라 물 필터부(9)에 수막을 형성하는 펌프(21)의 구동속도를 제어하여 수막의 두께를 조절하는 수막 조절부(40)와; 센서부(11)에서 전송된 농도값에 따라 팬 속도 조절부(30)와 수막 조절부(40)를 연동하여 제어함으로써 공기 흡입량을 가변시키거나, 수막의 두께를 가변시키는 컨트롤러(C)를 포함한다.
