Disclosed are a payment method using a messenger and a system for the same, capable of performing a payment process without direct connection to a payment system by using a messenger. The payment method includes: a step of receiving payment request information from an electronic device of a user through a first communication session set between accounts of a payment bot which is a chat bot linked to the payment system and the account of the user on the messenger and registering the received payment request information in the payment system; a step of providing the payment request information to the electronic device of an approver through a second communication session set between the account of the payment bot and the account of the approver on the messenger; and a step of completing payment processing by being linked with the payment system when intention of the approver about the payment request information is received from the electronic device of the approver through the second communication session and providing a payment processing result to the electronic device of the user through the first communication session. 메신저를 이용한 결재 방법 및 시스템이 개시된다. 결재 방법은, 메신저 상의 사용자의 계정과 결재 시스템과 연계된 챗봇(chatbot)인 결재 봇의 계정 간에 설정된 제1 통신 세션을 통해 상기 사용자의 전자 기기로부터 결재 신청 정보를 수신하여 상기 결재 시스템에 등록하는 단계; 상기 메신저 상의 승인자의 계정과 상기 결재 봇의 계정 간에 설정된 제2 통신 세션을 통해 상기 승인자의 전자 기기로 상기 결재 신청 정보를 제공하는 단계; 및 상기 제2 통신 세션을 통해 상기 승인자의 전자 기기로부터 상기 결재 신청 정보에 대한 상기 승인자의 의사가 수신되면 상기 결재 시스템과 연계하여 결재 처리를 완료하고 상기 제1 통신 세션을 통해 상기 사용자의 전자 기기로 결재 처리 결과를 제공하는 단계를 포함한다.
